Pauly and Monks
Pauly is excited to bring his offbeat style, sharp wit, and charm to Toad Hop Network. He resumed his broadcasting career in early 2013. During some "time off," Pauly shot two television shows, hosted and emceed events, played a drag queen in a web series, wrote/performed a successful one man show ("Desperately Seeking Pauly"), and wrote a book: "Fat Kid (and Other Large Tales)." The two loves of his life are his dog, Henry, and his fiancé, (he got engaged at Disneyland, in case you were questioning his sexual orientation). His former radio shows "The Fruit Salad Show" and "Hello Pauly Show" have been internationally acclaimed, in particular for Pauly's fun and conversational interview style. He attributes his interview success to always securing an alcohol sponsor and providing liquid incentive to guests.
Pauly loves Madonna, Britney Spears, Barefoot Contessa, French fries, music (he knows thousands of songs and sings incessantly), "The Golden Girls" (he has cried during more than one episode), "Grease 2", and "Sleepaway Camp." Pauly isn't ashamed to admit he was in a "Sweatin' to the Oldies" video. He would also love to have a second home in Palm Springs, children, and heaps of cash. On top of Pauly's guest wish list: Steve Perry.
Pauly was born, raised, and still resides in his favorite city in the whole world, Los Angeles. He is proud to join the Toad Hop Network family with co-host and fiancé, Ed "Monks" Marco.
